1. Krishnamachari Srikkanth- 1983 World Cup
The former cricketer made his debut at the international matches at the age of 21. He opened for the team and batted aggressively to destroy the opposition bowling lineup. He played like a storm- came to the ground and smashed balls using innovative styles. But his hard-hitting nature has caused troubles a lot of times. He often got out because of this reason. His ambushing nature was quite evident in the 1983 world cup. He was the top scorer in the finals and scored 38 runs. The former cricketer created a record of being the first Indian cricketer who scored a half-century as well as took 5 wickets in an ODI match against New Zealand in 1988.
