The Men's Cricket T20 World Cup 2024 will be organized from June 4 to June 30, in West Indies and USA. At the same time, Women's Cricket T20 World Cup will be organized in Bangladesh, although its dates and schedule have not been announced yet.

New logo reflects the energy of T20

According to the ICC, the new logo reflects fast-changing events in the smallest format. The new logo features textures and patterns inspired by the host nation hosting the World Cup next year, but also reflects the continued energy in T20 cricket.

The ICC said, "The logo, a creative fusion of bat, ball, and energy, symbolises the core elements of T20I cricket. The T20 lettering dynamically transforms into a swinging bat, encapsulated within a dynamic ball. The strike graphic within the ball mirrors the unique atmosphere and electric energy experienced in T20Is, with the zig-zag pattern alluding to rising excitement and heart-pounding moments."

The letters of the word T20 written in this logo are written in a design which shows the swing of a bat which has been hit by a ball very fast. These three letters are placed side by side in a zig-zag pattern design, which represents the vibration and tremendous energy generated by the strike between the bat and the ball.

The General Manager of ICC Marketing and Communication, Claire Furlong praised the new logo introduced for the T20 World Cup 2024, and said that, "We have an exciting six months ahead of us building up to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA, and fans can now register their interest to receive World Cup information and ticket news,"
