Bangladesh were bowled out for only 227 runs as fast bowler Reece Topley took four wickets in his 10-over spell. Litton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim tried to sum up the mess for Bangladesh but it was too spread to be collected. The defending champions made a brilliant comeback after starting the campaign with a loss against the Kiwis. After coming into bat first, Dawid Malan led the side by scoring his highest ODI International run as Bangladesh were looking already out of contention from there.

What went wrong for Bangladesh?
For England, it is a huge victory. They were outplayed by the Kiwis in the first match and they had to make a statement in this match. Jos Buttler's side went on to deliver a dominant display against the struggling Bangladesh side. Although Bangladesh started their campaign with a victory, they are not performing convincingly and that was evident in today's clash.
It looked like they didn't have a game plan to come up against the defending champions which cost them a heavy defeat. Skipper Shakib bowled beautifully but couldn't contribute with the bat. The middle order was looking shaky and England just took advantage of that.
