On Wednesday, Cricket Australia said that paceman Mitchell Starc, all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis will miss the IND vs AUS T20I series with “low level” injuries. Marsh (ankle), Stoinis (side), and Starc (knee) will be replaced by Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams, and Sean Abbott in the squad, CA said in a statement.

The three-match IND vs AUS T20I series starts in Mohali, on September 21 before heading to Nagpur and Hyderabad. Selectors felt that with three games in six days across the three Indian cities. All-rounder Daniel Sams replaces Stoinis while, Ellis replaced Marsh in the squad. Sean Abbott makes a comeback in the squad for the IND vs AUS T20I series in place of pacer Mitchell Starc.
