Bumrah has become the first bowler to become number 1 in all formats. He has also become the first Indian fast bowler to reach the top of the ICC Test bowling rankings. So far, only 2 players from India have achieved the number 1 rank in all formats. Before Bumrah, Virat Kohli had achieved this feat.

Kagiso Rabada is at second place after Bumrah with 851 marks. Ravichandran Ashwin (841 points) is in third place.

Fourth Indian bowler to achieve number-1 ranking in Test

Jasprit Bumrah is the fourth Indian bowler to achieve number-1 ranking in Test. Before him, Bishan Singh Bedi, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja had topped the Test rankings.

On the other hand, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a double century in the IND vs ENG second Test, has also gained in the ICC rankings. He has jumped 37 places to 29th position. In the first innings of Visakhapatnam Test, Yashasvi had scored 209 runs in 209 balls. India had won this match by 106 runs.
