"I denied the single. Virat said it would be bad if you won't take single, people will think playing for personal milestone but I said we are comfortably winning, you complete your century," KL Rahul said after the match.

Tanzid Hasan completes his first ODI half-century for Bangladesh. Hasan just faced 41 deliveries in which he slammed 5 fours and 3 sixes to complete the half-century.

Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan started slowly but didn't gifted their wickets to the Indian bowlers. They took time but now they are looking absolutely fine. Tanzid is batting on 44 in 37 deliveries while Litton is not out on 35 from 42 deliveries. Bangladesh are 82/0 after 13 overs.

Bumrah and Siraj have given the Men In Blues a good start. They haven't got a wicket but also didn't leak too many runs. Bangladesh Openers are struggling to score runs in the first five overs.

Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune and they will bat first.

Najmul Hossain Shanto is leading the team in the absence of Shakib. Hasan comes in for Taskin. Nasum is coming in for Shakib in the playing XI.

India will play with the same XI they played in the last game.

Shubman Gill needs to score 67 runs in the next 3 innings to become the fastest ever to score 2,000 ODI runs.

Rohit Sharma got off to a brilliant start once again after Bangladesh were restricted to a score of 256/8. The Indian captain was looking dangerous but he ended up falling in the 13th over on 48 off 40. Virat Kohli then came out swinging as he got two back-to-back no balls. He took two runs off the first, hit a four off the second that was a free hit, and a six off the next free hit delivery. Shubman Gill, meanwhile completed his first World Cup half century but lost his wicket on 53. Shreyas Iyer lost his wicket early also but Kl Rahul and Virat Kohli comfortably chase down the total under 41 overs. More importantly Kl Rahul played like a team player and helped Virat Kohli completing his 48th ODI Century.

Earlier, India restricted Bangladesh from scoring runs in the middle overs after the latter got off to a strong start with a 93-run opening stand. Their last-recognised pairing of Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim was ended by a brilliant fielding by Ravindra Jadeja, who took a stupendous catch at point giving Jasprit Bumrah his first wicket. With this victory, India label their points with New Zealand but they are still in the second spot with a NRR of +1.659. New Zealand are on the top with +1.923 NRR.
