And this time the shocking change is Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah leaving BCCI. According to Indian Cricket News, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah are likely to leave the governing body by October 2022. Their 3-year extended tenure with the BCCI is ceasing this year. Ganguly was elected as the president of the BCCI on October 23, 2019.

Under the partnership of Ganguly-Jay, the Indian team reached remarkable heights and achieved immense success in the bilateral series. Some of this success includes historical victories in England and Australia with the red ball. One of the biggest achievements of this duo is bringing Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman back to the Indian team as the head coach of the cricket team and the head of the National Cricket academy respectively.
