2024 will be a challenging year for the Men in Blue, with a bilateral series scheduled both home and away and a T20 World Cup set to take place in the middle of the year. Here is the full India men's cricket team's schedule for the 2024 calendar year.
India started their tour of South Africa in December 2023, which will end on January 2024 with the second Test in Cape Town bringing the curtains down on the tour.
3 T20is vs Afghanistan (Home)
After returning from South Africa, the Indian team will face Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series starting from January 11.
5 Test vs England (Home)
India will then play a five-match Test series at home against England. The The first Test will start from January 25 and the fifth Test is scheduled to end on March 11. This series will play an important part of the World Test Championship for both sides.
T20 World Cup 2024 (Away)
The 2024 men's T20 World Cup will start on June 4. The tournament will take up the entire month of June with the final scheduled on June 30. India would like to add their second t20 world cup title to their tally.
3 ODIs, 3 T20is vs Sri Lanka (Away)
India will head over to Sri Lanka for a white-ball tour comprising of three ODIs and three T20Is, the exact schedule of which is yet to be announced.
2 Tests, 3 T20is vs Bangladesh (Home)
India will next face Bangladesh at home in a two-test and a three-match-T20I series. The Tests will be part of the World Test Championship 2023-25.
3 Tests vs New Zealand (Home)
The Men in Blues will face a tough challenge against the Kiwis in a 3-match Test series during the Oct-Nov phase. This will be India's penultimate Test series of their 2023-25 World Test Championship campaign before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
4 Tests Vs Australia (Border-Gavaskar Trophy)
India will end the year with a 4-match Test series against Australia in the Australian soil that will continue till 2025. The schedule for the series is not confirmed yet so, it can't be said with certainty exactly how many of those four Tests will be in 2024 and how many in January 2025.

Abbas Ali Baig scored his first test century at the age of 20 years and 126 days against England in July 1959. This made him the first Indian to score a century on Test debut outside India and the fourth youngest centurion in this elite list.

The former Indian test opener, Madhav Apte, scored his only test century at the age of 20 years 137 days in January 1953 against the West Indies. He made 163 not out in the fifth test of the series.
Despite the impressive century and a good tour, his Test career was surprisingly short-lived, playing only 7 tests.

Rishabh Pant's aggressive and fearless approach came into light with his maiden Test century at 20 years and 338 days of age, making his way to the Top 10 youngest Indian cricketers to score an international century.
