Ravichandran Ashwin has once again proven his worth as one of the best spin bowlers in the world by becoming the sixth bowler to take 30 or more five-wicket hauls in Test cricket. The Indian spinner achieved this milestone during the INDvsAUS fourth Test match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Ashwin showed his spin on the second day on a helpful pitch for batting. He took a total of six wickets in the innings to wrap up Australia’s first innings of the INDvsAUS fourth Test. While Shane Warne with 37, Richard Hadlee with 36, Kumble with 35, Rangana Herath with 34, and Anderson with 32. Ashwin is the second-fastest bowler to reach the milestone of 30 five-wicket hauls in Test cricket, behind only Muralitharan.
