The Indian team is set to tour the West Indies for a multi-format series starting 12th July. both sides will kick the proceedings with two Test matches. There have been many memorable Test matches between India and the West Indies. In the rich history of INDvsWI Test matches, there have been many bowlers who have registered their names in the history books. Anil Kumble:

Anil Kumble's greatness is known to every cricket fan. In West Indies, he has scalped 45 wickets, three five-wicket hauls with an average of 31.28. He has picked up fifers in his first and last matches on the Caribbean soil, both at Kingston. He was India's best bowler between 1997-2002. In 2002 he gave the cricketing world one of its most iconic moments at St John's when he bowled with a broken jaw.

Ishant Sharma:

Ishant Sharma has picked 41 wickets in nine matches on the Caribbean soil. More than half of them (22) came on his first tour in 2011. His average of 18.61 with the ball away against the Windies is his best for any country he has played and also has three five-wicket hauls. His only Test 10-wicket haul came just in his second Test in West Indies, at Bridgetown in 2011.

S Venkataraghavan:

S Venkataraghavan played his first test series in West Indies in 1971 and picked up 22 wickets in the five Tests. India registered a famous 1-0 win, their first in the Caribbean soil. He registered a figure of 5/95 in the Port of Spain in the second innings, which was also his best spell in West Indies. Venkataraghavan his tally to 39 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 43.58 after visiting in 1976 and 1983.

Harbhajan Singh:

Harbhajan Singh is fourth on the list for taking the most wickets in West Indies in Tests. He has played 8 matches on the Caribbean soil and has picked 36 wickets at an average of 25.86. Harbhajan has the best figure of 5/13 at Kingston in 2006.

Kapil Dev:

Kapil Dev is one of the legends of the game. He is one of the best all-rounders, India have ever produced. Kapil Dev has played 9 matches on the Caribbean soil and has picked 35 wickets at an average of 23.11. His best figure of 6/84 in an inning came at Kingston in 1989.
