IPL 2021: UAE to host remaining 31 matches from September

VIVO IPL 2021 is going to resume later this year in the United Arab Emirates by September-October, confirmed by the Vice president of BCCI.

A ray of sunshine in these gloomy times for the cricket fans! VIVO IPL 2021 is going to resume later this year. The hosting country has been shifted from India to the United Arab Emirates because of the second wave of coronavirus in India. Initially, the situation was under control but after some matches, the players, people from the management started testing positive of coronavirus even inside the bio bubble. Hence, it was decided by the BCCI to postpone the rest of the 31 matches. On Saturday, Vijay Shukla, the vice President of BCCI, confirmed the news that IPL 2021 is resuming soon by September-October.

Before indefinitely postponing the matches, the last match was played between DC and PBKS. DC won that match and ranked number 1 at the table. CSK is at the 2nd position, RCB at 3rd, MI at 4th followed RR, PBKS, KKR, and SRH respectively.
