IPL 2024 Auction: Mitchell Starc becomes the most expensive player in IPL history; Sameer Rizvi and Kumar Kushagra become crorepatis in auction

Every team completed their full quota of 25 players. Mitchell Starcwith 24.75 Cr, became the most expensive player in the history of IPL. Pat Cummins, who was bought by SRH, became the first-ever player to get more than 20 crore prize in IPL auction's history.

Sameer Rizvi, Kumar Kushagra, Shahrukh Khan and Shivam Mavi were the expensive Indian players in the auction with three players other than Mavi are being upcapped players.

Karun Nair remained unsold. Manish Pandey is sold to KKR for 50 lakh. Rilee Rossouw is sold to Punjab Kings for 8 Crore. Steve Smith remained unsold. Lockie Ferguson is sold to RCB for 2 crore. Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Rahaman was sold to KKR for 2 crore while Mohammad Nabi was sold for 1.5 Crore to Mumbai Indians.

Shai Hope, the West Indian batter was sold to Delhi Capitals for 75 lakh. Gus Atkinson was sold to KKR for 1 crore.

Finn Allen and Collin Munro is unsold. Sherfane Rutherford is sold to KKR for 1.5 Cr. Australia's Ashton Turner is sold to Lucknow for INR 1 Crore. Unfortunately, Rassie Van Der Dussen from South Africa was unsold.

Tom Curran is sold to RCB for 1.5 Crore. Meanwhile, James Neesham & Keemo Paul along with Odean Smith remained unsold.

David Willey is sold to LSG for 2 Crore. Shai Hope & Dushmanta Chameera remained unsold. Australia's Ben Dwarshuis, Matt Henry & Kyle Jamieson from New Zealand were unsold as well.

Spencer Jhonson stole the show late in the night as he is bought by Gujarat Titans by 10 Cr. Mustafizur Rahaman is sold to CSK for 2 Cr. Meanwhile, Tymal Mills and Adam Milne remained unsold.

Jhye Richardson is sold to Delhi Capitals for 5 crore. Nuwan Tushara is sold to Mumbai Indians for 4.8 Crore.

Sandeep Warrier and Luke Wood remained unsold. Naman Dhir & Anshul Kamboj are sold to Mumbai Indians for 20 lakh. Sumit Kumar sold to 1 crore to Delhi Capitals while Ashutosh Sharma and Vishwanath Pratap Singh were sold to PBKS for 20 lakh.

Robin Minz is sold to Gujarat Titans for 3.6 crore. Prince Choudhary is sold to PunjabKings for a base price of INR 20 Lakh while Jhathavedh Subramanyan is sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for the same price.

Shiva Singh was first up and he remained unsold. Manav Suthar was sold to Gujarat Titans for 20 lakh. Lucknow bought M. Siddharth for 2.4 Cr. Surprisingly, Murgan Ashwin was unsold.

Shreyas Gopal was sold to Mumbai Indians for 20 Lakh. A bargain for the five-time champions for sure. Pulkit Narang was the last in the slot and he remained unsold.

Yash Dayal is the first one to be sold. He goes to RCB for 5 Cr. Sushant Mishra is sold to Gujarat Titans for INR 2.20 Crore. Kuldip Yadav remained unsold while Akash Singh is sold to Hyderabad for 20 Lakh.

Kartik Tyagi is sold to Gujarat Titans for 60 lakhs. Ishan Porel remained unsold while Rasikh Dar is sold to Delhi Capitals for 20 lakh.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore is sold to Rajasthan Royals for 20 lakh. Ricky Bhui is sold to Delhi Capitals for INR 20 Lakh. Meanwhile, Urvil Patel & Vishnu Solanki remained unsold.

Kumar Kushagra is sold to Delhi Capitals for a massive 7.2 Cr.

Mohd. Arshad Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Raj Angad Bawa ans Vivrant Sharma remained unsold.

Arshin Kulkarni is sold to Lucknow Super Giants for 20 Lakh.

Shahrukh Khan goes for 7.4 Cr to Gujarat Titans.

Ramandeep Singh is sold to KKR for 20 lakh.

Shubham Dubey sold to Rajasthan Royals for 5.8 Cr!

Rohan Kunnummal goes unsold along with Saurav Chauhan and Manan Vora remained unsold. Priyansh Arya is also unsold.

CSK get Sameer Rizvi for a huge amount of 8.4 Cr while Angkris Raghuvanshi is sold to KKR for 20 lakh.

The base price of South African bowler Tabraiz Shamsi was Rs 50 lakh. He remained unsold. New Zealand bowler Ish Sodhi also remained unsold. His base price was Rs 75 lakh. The base price of Afghanistan bowler Mujeeb Ur Rahman was Rs 2 crore. He also remained unsold.

The base price of Afghanistan bowler Waqar Salamkheil was Rs 50 lakh. But no one bid on him. Salamkheil remained unsold. England's spinner Adil Rashid also remained unsold. His base price was Rs 2 crore. West Indies player Akeal Hosein also remained unsold.

The base price of Sri Lankan bowler Dilshan Madushanka was Rs 50 lakh. Lucknow placed the first bid on him. After this Mumbai started bidding. Finally Madushanka was bought by Mumbai for Rs 4.60 crore.

The base price of Indian player Jaydev Unadkat was Rs 50 lakh. Sunrisers Hyderabad placed the first bid on him. After this Delhi Capitals also came into the game. But in the end Hyderabad won. Hyderabad bought Jaydev for Rs 1.60 crore.

Delhi Capitals made the first bid on Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. His base price was Rs 2 crore. Bidding worth up to Rs 9.60 crore was seen between Mumbai and Delhi. After this Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders started bidding. Finally Kolkata bought Starc for Rs 24.75 crore.

There was a long competition between Gujarat and Kolkata to buy Starc. Gujarat made the last bid of Rs 24.50 crore. But Kolkata bought Starc by bidding more than this.

The base price of Indian fast bowler Shivam Mavi was Rs 50 lakh. He was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for 6.40 crores. Royal Challengers Bangalore had also bid up to Rs 6.20 crore to buy Mavi but Lucknow won.

The base price of Indian bowler Umesh Yadav was Rs 2 crore. Initially, there was a competition between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans to buy him. After this Delhi Capitals also came into the game. But Gujarat won and bought Umesh for Rs 5.80 crore.

The base price of West Indies player Alzarri Joseph was Rs 1 crore. He was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 11.50 crore. Lucknow Super Giants paid up to Rs 11.25 crore to buy Joseph. But in the end RCB won.

The base price of Indian fast bowler Chetan Sakariya was Rs 50 lakh. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders at base price. The base price of New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson was Rs 2 crore. He could not find any buyers. Ferguson remained unsold.

Australian wicketkeeper batsman Josh Inglis remained unsold. His base price was Rs 2 crore. Sri Lankan player Kusal Mendis also remained unsold. His base price was Rs 50 lakh.

The base price of Indian wicketkeeper batsman Srikar Bharat was Rs 50 lakh. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders. The base price of South African wicketkeeper batsman Tristan Stubbs was Rs 50 lakh. Delhi Capitals bought him at base price.

If we look at the auction so far, four players have remained unsold. Australian player Steve Smith remained unsold. Along with him, Manish Pandey, Karun Nair and Rilee Rossouw have remained unsold.

The base price of England all-rounder Chris Woakes was Rs 2 crore. Kolkata Knight Riders made the first bid on him. But in the end Punjab Kings won. Punjab bought Woakes for Rs 4.20 crore.

The base price of New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell was Rs 1 crore. Delhi Capitals made the first bid on him. After this Punjab Kings started bidding. After this CSK started bidding. In the end, Chennai Super Kings won and bought Mitchell for Rs 14 crore.

The base price of Indian player Harshal Patel was Rs 2 crore. Gujarat Titans made the first bid on him. After Gujarat, Punjab Kings also came into the game. The contest between Gujarat and Punjab continued till the end. After this, Lucknow Super Giants also started bidding. But in the end Punjab Kings won. Punjab bought Harshal for Rs 11.75 crore.

The base price of South African all-rounder Gerald Coetzee was Rs 2 crore. Mumbai Indians bought him for Rs 5 crore. Now bidding is being held on Team India player Harshal Patel.

The base price of Australian player Pat Cummins was Rs 2 crore. Chennai Super Kings made the first bid on Cummins. After this Mumbai Indians started bidding. Bidding between these two was up to Rs 4.80 crore. After this RCB came into the game. Chennai remained in bidding till Rs 7.60 crore. After this Sunrisers Hyderabad started competing. In the end Sunrisers Hyderabad won. Cummins became the most expensive player in IPL history. Hyderabad bought him for Rs 20.50 crore.

India's star all-rounder Shardul Thakur was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 4 crore. Shardul's base price was Rs 2 crore. Whereas Afghanistan's all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai was sold for Rs 50 lakh. He was bought by Gujarat Titans.

Rachin Ravindra, who had a base price of Rs 50 lakh, was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 1 crore 80 lakh. This all-rounder player from New Zealand had performed brilliantly in the 2023 World Cup.

Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Sri Lankan mystery spinner Wanindu Hasaranga for his base price of Rs 1.5 crore. Apart from Hyderabad, no team bid for Hasaranga.

Indian player Karun Nair remained unsold. His base price was Rs 50 lakh. Manish Pandey also remained unsold. His base price was Rs 50 lakh. Now a short break has been taken before the next set.

South African batsman Rilee Rossouw remained unsold. His base price was Rs 2 crore.

The base price of Australian player Travis Head was Rs 2 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad started the bidding on the Head. After this, Chennai Super Kings also put their price. CSK made the last bid of Rs 6.60 crore. But after this he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad bought Head for Rs 6.80 crore.

Harry Brook was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 4 crore. The base price of Brook was Rs 2 crore. Rajasthan Royals also wanted to buy Brook. They continued speaking till the end. But the price was not increased after Rs 3.80 crore.

The first bid of the IPL 2024 auction was placed on West Indies player Rovman Powell. Rajasthan Royals bought him for 7 times more than the base price. Rajasthan bought Powell for Rs 7.40 crore. His base price was Rs 1 crore.
