KKR's bowling is another issue. Mitchell Starc hasn't justified his price tag yet. Harshit Rana still has to learn a lot and the 22-year-old still has a lot of time to improve. Varun Chakaravarthy is having a poor season and he will be hoping to make a comeback. Sunil Narine has bowled well and Andre Russell has bowled some critical overs too. But, the KKR bowling unit has to improve more if they want to return to their winning path.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB have been struggling from the start of the tournament this season. Except for Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik, none has shown form consistently. Captain Faf du Plessis has not got himself going other than two matches. Glenn Maxwell is far away from his best and he is also injured.
Rajat Patidar is inconsistent and needs to step up and score runs continuously before RCB doesn't have too many opportunities and matches left. Despite scoring a lot of runs and holding the orange cap, pundits have criticized Virat's strike rate at the end.

However, the bowling has been the most problematic thing for RCB. Mohammed Siraj has not looked at his best and has not given the start with the new ball they have been looking for. RCB have tried Yash Dayal, Reece Topley, Akash Deep, and Vyshak Vijaykumar as their pace variations, but except for Vyshak Vijaykumar, none has been that good so far.
RCB have lost six out of their seven games already and another defeat will confirm their elimination.
