Pakistan:
After two consecutive defeats in their very first two games, Pakistan bounces back and won the rest of the games and semi-final against the Kiwis to seal a spot in the finals. Now, they will be looking for their second T20 title here at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan both scored half-centuries in the semis against the finalists of last year, the Blackcaps. This is a good sign for the side while the bowlers have shown their skills again with Shaheen Afridi getting back to his form in the last game. The team is looking solid to clinch the title this time which they missed last time with a defeat at the hands of the Aussies.

England:
Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Three Lions outperformed India in the second semi-final, with a huge victory by 10 wickets. Chasing a total of 169, England's openers looked set from the very first ball. Hales and skipper Buttler both smashed half-centuries while Hales remained unbeaten at 86 and Buttler at 80.
In the first innings, the bowlers have done a decent job picking up early wickets of both Indian openers and in-form batter Surya. Hardik and Kohli scored half-century which helped them to get to a competitive score before the English openers came to the party. As a result, they finished the game with 24 balls to spare and entered into the finals. The England team and fans will be hoping for their second title after a long wait of 12 years.
