Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Bengal vs Bihar LIVE Scores, Updates and News | Day 4 to start

Hello and welcome to Sportz Point's special coverage of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. From today onwards, till the next four days, we will cover the Bengal vs Bihar Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match, at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground in Kalyani, West Bengal.

This game will mark the 100th first-class game of Bengal batter Abhimanyu Easwaran. Bengal are coming from a three-point match against Uttar Pradesh and will look to start their home match with a bonus point.

Meantime, Bihar's young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be joining the squad after a great youth test against Australia U-19s for the India U-19 team. They are coming from a defeat against Haryana and if they can at least earn a point somehow, will be doing no harm to their reputation.

For Bengal, star pacer Mukesh Kumar and veteran keeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha will not be playing the match. Saha has some issues with his neck and back while Mukesh has been rested after playing nearly all the matches since the start of Duleep Trophy 2024.

Good morning from Kalyani. We did not have any rain here yesterday but there was fog in the morning. The sun is out and the groundsmen are working hard to ensure we can have a game today. But, looks like we will not have any game before lunch.
