Rinku Singh named in Duleep Trophy 2024 squad: Here are the updated squads

Since lots of players who played in the first round of Duleep Trophy 2024 will feature in the India vs Bangladesh Test series, the selection committee has decided to replace players for the next round of the tournament. Rinku Singh was one of the few prominent names who were called as replacement for the second round of the matches.

The second round of Duleep Trophy 2024 matches will be played from 12th September in Anantapur.

Updated India A squad

From India A, captain Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav and Akash Deep will represent the Men in Blue in the Bangladesh Test series. Hence replacements have been called by the selection pannel.

Pratham Singh (Railways) replacced Gill, Akshay Wadkar (Vidarbha CA) came in for KL Rahul and SK Rasheed (Andhra CA) was called in as a replacement for Jurel. Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani will replace Kuldeep Yadav while Aaqib Khan (UPCA) will replace Akash Deep.

Updated India B squad

India B were victorious against India A in the first round match in Bangalore. From their squad Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Yash Dayal and Sarfaraz Khan have been named in the India vs Bangladesh series.

Suyash Prabhudessai will reaplce Jaiswal in the squad while Rinku Singh will come in place of Rishabh Pant. However, both Yash Dayal and Sarfaraz Khan will play in the second round of the tournament. Himanshu Mantri of Madhya Pradesh CA has been added to the squad.

Updated India C squad

No changes have been made to the India C squad who won their match within three days against India D in the first round.

Only Axar Patel was named in the Bangladesh series squad and hence he has been replaced by Nishant Sindhu of Haryana.

Fast bowler Tushar Deshpande has recieved a niggle and was reaplced by Vidwath Kaverappa, who initially was with India A squad in the first round.
