Rishabh Pant, the Indian cricketer tests positive for COVID-19 in England. The wicketkeeper-batsman will not travel to Durham with the team on Thursday. In Durham, the team members are supposed to assemble before the upcoming 5 match test series against the host country.
One of the BCCI sources informed about the news of Rishabh pant and he was also in isolation for the past few days. Right now he is asymptomatic and there are no concerns of any serious issue.
The BCCI source informed when he was asked if the 23-year-old will join the squad."He is in quarantine at an acquaintance's place and won't be traveling with the team to Durham on Thursday."

After the final of the World Test Championship, all the team members were on a break for about two weeks. Rajiv Shukla, the vice President of BCCI confirms the situation and mentions that the player is in isolation and quarantining.
He also told PTI, "Yes, one player has tested positive but he has been in isolation for the last eight days. He was not staying in any hotel with the team, so no other player has been affected."
