Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal got Rajasthan Royals off to a strong start against Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL clash in Jaipur on Wednesday. The pair added 87 runs for the first wicket before Marcus Stoinis removed Yashasvi for 44(35). Sanju Samson got run-out for 2(4) in the next over. Stoinis then dismissed Buttler for 40(41) and Avesh Khan got rid of Shimron Hetmyer for 2(5). The match completely turned upside down. Earlier, clinical R Ashwin and Trent Boult helped the hosts restrict Lucknow at 154/7 after inviting them to bat. Ashwin scalped two wickets and conceded 23 runs in his four overs, while Boult gave 16 runs and picked a wicket in his quota. Kyle Mayers scored a half-century, but it came at a very slow pace. It looked like Rajastan will easily chase the score but Lucknow managed to restrict Rajasthan for just 144 runs and won the match by 10 runs. A slow but stable start from the LSG openers
Rajasthan Royals won the toss & decided to bowl first. Kl Rahul & Kyle Mayers started the proceedings for Lucknow Super Giants. LSG had a slow but stable start. Rahul & Mayers constructed the inning slowly. They only managed to score 37 runs in the powerplay without loosing a single wicket. The openers pushed the run rate in the 8th over after scoring 13 runs in that over. Rahul & Mayers managed to complete 79 runs in the first 10 overs. It was a decent score without loosing a wicket. Jason Holder dismissed Kl Rahul for 39 runs in the 11th over.
Ashwin & Boult helped Rajasthan to restrict Lucknow under 160 runs
Kyle Mayers completed his half-century after facing 40 deliveries. Ashwin & Boult dismissed Hooda & badoni quickly and Lucknow fell under trouble. Ashwin also dismissed Mayers and Lucknow lost 4 wickets under only 22 runs.
Pooran (29) & Stoinis (21) put up a decent partnership but Rajasthan bowlers were too good to restrict them under just 154 runs. Boult only gave 16 runs in his 4-overs spell and picked up a single wicket. Ashwin got 2 wickets after his 4-overs spell and gave only 23 runs.

Buttler & Jaiswal got off to a brilliant start
Jos Buttler & Jaiswal had a decent start. Jaiswal showed a positive intent after two bad matches. Buttler also wasn't able to contribute anything in the last two matches. He started the chase slowly while Jaiswal tried to built the inning in fast pace. Rajasthan managed to accumulate 47 runs at the end of powerplay.
They continued the same pace and managed to score 73 runs after the end of 10 overs. Marcus Stoinis drew the first blood by dismissing Jaiswal for 44 runs. Sanju Samson got run out for just 2 runs. Marcus Stoinis also dismissed Jos Buttler for 40 runs in 41 deliveries and Rajasthan fell under complete trouble. Buttler never abled to boost his inning.
Avesh Khan & Stoinis picked up wickets in the right moments & changed the match completely
Padikkal (26) started really well but once again he failed to extend his inning to something big. Hetmyer failed big time as he only managed to score 2 runs. Avesh Khan picked up 3 crucial wickets while Stoinis also got 2 match winning wickets. Lucknow clinched the victory from Rajasthan's hand in the low-scoring thriller.
