The Jaipur pitch is a balanced one but especially helps the bowlers but this hasn't been the case this season. The pitch usually favours both spinners and seamers but batters have gotten enough advantages too so far this season. Both teams will be hoping to chase after winning the toss.
Most games played on this ground have been won by the chasing side although out of three games played at Rajasthan this season, two of those were won by the side which batted first.

Team News
Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals are sitting at the top after winning six out of their seven matches so far this season and they reached the top after beating Mumbai at the Wankhede earlier this season. Since then, they are holding onto it firmly with everything in their power. The inaugural edition champions have dominantly started this season. Jos Buttler scored his second century of the season and sealed RR's victory against KKR after chasing 224 runs at the Eden Gardens.
Jaiswal hasn't had a good season but Rajasthan hasn't missed him that much. Riyan Parag has already announced with his consistent performances that it is going to be a redemption season for him. He has scored 318 runs after appearing in all seven matches for RR at a brilliant strike rate of 161.42. Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer have scored here and there while skipper Sanju Samson has led the team from the front, scoring 276 runs at an average of 55.20.

Trent Boult and Kuldeep Sen are highly expected to feature as the leading pace bowlers with Avesh Khan bowling the death overs. Avesh Khan has been decent but the management has high hopes for him. Nandre Burger has recovered well from a small leg issue and might appear in this game but that completely depends on the toss.
Sandeep Sharma is also training and he is fit for selection too. On the other side, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will attack with their spin as Rajasthan Royals are looking very stable this season. It will be a tough battle as MI will come this time with all guns blazing especially because they lost the home encounter.

Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians are coming into the game after winning two out of their three previous matches. They will be desperate to register a victory against Rajasthan but few players have to step up to make it possible. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma both have provided MI with a perfect start in almost every game this season.
The former Mumbai skipper has already scored 297 runs this season at an impressive strike rate of 164.08. Suryakumar Yadav has scored two half-centuries but he needs to maintain consistency, batting at no 3. Tilak Varma has played some important knocks this season and would be hoping to repeat it against RR too.

Tim David will be there to play the role of a finisher and he has done it quite a few times. The only worrying sign is Hardik Pandya's captaincy and performance. He hasn't delivered in any of those seven matches MI have played. Lots of decisions have gone wrong and the early signs are not looking good. But knowing Mumbai, they will somehow find a way to make a comeback.
Jasprit Bumrah has been incredible so far and he is in his prime right now. Coetzee picked up three wickets in the last match and he is right up there, scalping wickets regularly alongside Bumrah. The spin could be a huge issue for the five-time champions as they don't have many options in that area.
Akash Madhwal's form is another headache for the management. He hasn't delivered except one match and has to find a way to make a comeback.
