The Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2024 match will be televised on Star Sports Network. All the Indian Premier League matches will be streamed free on the Jio Cinema app and website.
Pitch & Weather Report
The pitch at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is expected to be a hard and dry track just like it was against DC. The pitch will favour the batters from both sides. The spinners might get enough assistance but only the time will tell how the game is going to play out. The team batting first won the previous game at this venue but chasing will not be a bad choice after winning the toss.
Dew is expected to play a huge role as it will be a night game. The temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius. There are no chances of rain in the match.

Team News
Rajasthan Royals
RR are coming into the game after registering three consecutive victories this season. They beat MI in the last game quite comfortably and are looking like the favourites. Trent Boult picked up three wickets in the last game and so did Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal conceded only 11 runs in his 4-over spell which is nothing in a 20-over game. Ashwin, Burger, and Avesh Khan also bowled well and RR are expected to come in against RCB with the same bowling lineup.
Boult and Burger will start the proceedings, bowling in the powerplay while Chahal and Ashwin will take care of the middle overs and Avesh Khan will be bowling in the death. RR are looking very settled this season and will be hoping to pull off another victory as they don't want to stop just now.
As for the batting, Riyan Parag is leading the unit, scoring two consecutive half-centuries. He also scored 40+ runs in the first game and he has gone into his redemption mode. The openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler haven't impressed so far this season but they will be hoping to get going from the game against RCB. Sanju Samson knows how to perform according to the situation and so does Hetmyer too.

The middle-order batters haven't bat much this season but they will have to be ready when the moment arrives. Ashwin and Shubham Dubey took the role of the finishers in the last game against MI but that wasn't a huge target to chase. So players like Dhruv Jurel and Hetmyer will have to take responsibility when the team needs them.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB are not off to a good start. They have lost three matches already of 4 they have played. Except for Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik, none of the batters have scored runs for RCB. Faf du Plessis is not in great form while Cameron Green and Glenn Maxwell are just playing just for the sake of playing. Maxwell has scored only 31 runs this season including two ducks while Green has scored only 63 runs in 4 matches. The RCB batting unit looks very strong on paper but hasn't delivered in any of these four games.

Dinesh Karthik has played some good cameos after coming into bat lower down the order but Rawat hasn't helped him except scoring in the first game. Mahipal Lomror has scored runs and that too with a superb strike rate and he will be hoping to get a promotion in batting as Rajat Patidar has also struggled to score runs. The inconsistency among the batters has been a huge concern for RCB over the years and this is haunting them once again this season.
The bowling hasn't been good also. They didn't pick up the right bowlers at the right amount in the auction and are paying the price for that. Yash Dayal is the only positive in RCB's bowling this season while Mohammed Siraj has been so poor with his decision-making. He has leaked runs quite easily which has caused them big time. Joseph was just not the right option and the management replaced him with Topley but that also didn't go in favour of them. Maxwell has done some work with his bowling otherwise the spin attack is just dead for Bangalore. Faf du Plessis will be hoping his side to perform as a team against RR at the away venue otherwise they will just lose another game.
