New Zealand has become the latest cricketing team to unveil their new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and has officially announced it on Instagram. The New Zealand side which was the runners-up in the previous edition of the tournament will be looking to go one step further in the upcoming edition and clinch their maiden trophy.

Coming to the jersey, Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell were the two cricketers posing with their new shirts in the image posted by New Zealand Cricket on Instagram.
The top half of the jersey was filled with grey while the remaining half was covered with black. The jersey also had three white stripes in the middle and it was slightly contrary to New Zealand's jersey in the previous edition in 2021 where the top half was covered with green.
A few days back, India and Pakistan revealed their new jerseys ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 and it went trending on social media. The hosts of the tournament, Australia have also unveiled their jersey for the mega ICC event in October.
New Zealand Squad for T20 World Cup 2022
The New Zealand Cricket Board have already announced their 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 and Kane Williamson is all set to lead the side. Finn Allen and Michael Bracewell found places as the duo have made brilliant starts to their respective international careers.

New Zealand will start its campaign in the tournament with two warm-up matches against South Africa and India. However, they will play their first game against Australia on October 22 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
