India women's team becomes only the third team after New Zealand and Australia to whitewash England Women in WODIs. Moreover, it was India's first series win in England after a long wait of over 23 years. The last time the Women in Blue won a series in the British countryside was way back in 1999.

The first team to grab a clean sweep in England was the New Zealand team back in 1996 they defeated the home side 3-0. However, the second and next team was Australia, which achieved this milestone three times (1998, 2001, and 2019). So, India is only the third team in its history to achieve this feat. This was England's 5th whitewash at their home when talking about WODIs.

Talking about the series, the Indian side clearly dominated after losing the T20I series previously. However, the last match ended up as controversial with Deepti Sharma Mankad the last batsman of England, Charlotte Dean when 17 runs were required to win for the home side.
