Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be unavailable for the 3rd T20I against the West Indies as BCCI has given a bio-bubble break. Meanwhile, Kohli has hammered his 30th T20I fifty yesterday in the 2nd game of the T20I series against the West Indies. However, under the new captain of the side, India has already sealed the T20I series by 2-0 with one game remaining to play on Sunday.
The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) has issued a bio-bubble break to the players as Kohli will take a rest not only in the third T20I but also in the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka. After that Virat Kohli will be playing his 100th test match at Mohali against the Lankans.
Previously, India has won the ODI series against the West Indies at Ahmedabad last week. Now, on Sunday India will be lifting the T20I trophy under new captain Rohit Sharma. However, the BCCI will soon announce Rohit as the new Test skipper of the side. It seems that Rohit Sharma will be starting his Test captaincy journey at the Mohali on March 4.
Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is fully fit and ready to come back to the team in the upcoming Sri Lanka home series. The home series against the Sri Lanka side will start from February 24 onwards.
