Barcelona entered the quarter-finals of UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2019-20 season after beating Napoli by 3-1 in the second leg in Barcelona. Both teams were coming off from a 1-1 draw in the first leg and goals were expected from the word go. Barcelona were the first to find the net with Fermin Lopez and Joao Cancelo finding the net in the gap of two minutes. However, Rrahmani scored for Napoli to narrow their deficit. Robert Lewandowski then scored his 94th goal to take the home team in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

17-year-old Pau Cubarsi won the player of the match award on his UEFA Champions League debut.

Rapinha's deflected free-kick was heading towards the low corner of the goal. Meret saves it for Napoli.

A deflection from Cubarsi and it could have gone anywhere. Osimhen was there to take the advantage but Ter Stegen was cautious enough to nulify that.

Politano was on target from the freekick but Ter Stegen was there to grab it.

Cancelo found Rapinha after making a run on the left. Rapinha's shoot is then saved by Meret. Barcelona looking threatening on the counter.

Barcelona get the second half underway.

End of a brilliant first half in Barcelona. Both teams looked to find the net from the whistle. However, it was Barcelona who found the goal twice but Napoli comeback with a superb finish from Rrahmani. Barcelona lead by 2-1 and we surely will see more goals in the second half.

Lamine Yamal with the attack on the counter-attack and he found Rapinha with a great pass. However, Rapinha could not get the job done as he hit the post and Cancelo was there to get the ball inside the goal in the rebound ball.

Yellow card for Christensen.

Lopez tried to flick the ball over the goalie after receiving the ball on the edge of the box. The first touch was good but he could not get the balance needed for the shot to go inside.

Fermin Lopez takes a wild shot from the right of the box but goes away from the goal. Yamal and him are troubling the Napoli defenders from the word go.

The striker nearly had found an away to run with the ball but the referee was alert to flag him out.

Both teams with same formation, same score from the first-leg, want to score first to get that early advantage. Christensen, who is playing in the midfield, looks to be very busy for the home team.
