Barcelona vs Osasuna Spanish Super Cup 2024 2nd Semi-final Highlights | Barcelona pip over Osasuna to set up an El-Clasico final on Sunday

Barcelona defeated Osasuna by 2-0 to make it an El-Clasico final for a second straight year in the Spanish Super Cup. Barcelona had the possession since the start of the match and always took the attack to Osasuna defenders. However, despite having great ball possession, they were not clinical in the final third of the field.

The current La Liga champions had to wait till 59th minute to find their first goal of the match. Robert Lewandowski with the goal for them. His 11th of the season and Gundogan with the assist for him. 16-year-old sensation Yaime Lamal scored the second goal for Barcelona in the added minutes of the second half to finish things off in style for them.

So, it is full time here in Riyadh. Barcelona beat Osasuna by 2-0 to lock horns with Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday. It was a tough game for them since Osasuna were very clinical in their defence. Robert Lewandowski and Yamine Lamal found the net for them while Franike de Jong remained one of their best players in the mid-field.

16-year-old Lamine Yamal makes it 2-0 for FC Barcelona. It is his second goal for Barcelona. Felix nutmeged through the defenders to pass it to Yamal on the right who received the ball on his right and shoot it with left for the goal.

Budimir's left-footed curler is saved by Pena by a full-length dive.

Lewandowski nearly found another goal but Areso was there to deny him inside the box with a block.

Felix made his way into the box from the box past David Garica before shooting with his right-foot from left of the box. Herrera made a full-length dive to save deny him.

Clinical from Lewandowski and he socres his 11th goal of the season. The attack started from Christensen winning the ball inside the Osasuna half. Gundogan then found Lewandowski on the left edge of the box after having the ball from Christensen.

Lewandowski did the rest with his left-foot to give Barcelona the lead.

Arnaiz gets the third yellow card of the match for holding down Ferran Torres.

Gundogan with the delivery again after taking a short kick from just outside of the box. David Garcia did well to block Araujo from having a clean header.

Let's see which team can break the deadlock and score the goal first.

Barcelona with 79% ball possession nearly had the ball within themlsevs throughout the first-half. However, an out of form Lewandowski lacked finishing as he missed two best chances of the match so far.

Yamal driblled through the defenders to find the space inside the box before passing it to Lewandowski. However, his shot is blocked by David Garcia, who has been superb for Osasuna in the first-half.

The 16-year-old sensation makes his Super Cup debut as Raphinha had to leave the field due to an injury.

Second yellow card of the match.

Osasuna in counter-attack again found their best chance so far. Pena makes a save as Budimir nutmeged Araujo inside the box.

Raphinha was running away with the ball and Catena's foul makes the referee to bring his yellow card out for the first time in the match.

Another big chance goes for begging for Barcelona and Lewandowski. Brilliant corner by Gündogan but Lewandowski again was not cilincal enough to score there.

Christensen's slip in the final third is saved by Ronald Araujo. Xavi suddenly had his heart pumping.

Barcelona nearly having more than 80% ball possession as of now but without anything to show in the scoreline. They have been building up but are not been able to do the magic in the final third.

Gündogan's free-kick from 25 yards from the box was on-target and Herrera had to jump in the air and punch it away. It's been only 20 minutes and Herrera has already made three saves for Osasuna.

Robert Lewandowski misses the first genuine chance of the match. The Barcelona striker would surely be disappointed by letting these chance go. Lewandowski received a great pass from Raphinha on the left of the box but could not shoot past Herrera for the first goal of the match.

It's been an end-to-end football from both Barcelona and Osasuna defenders. Both teams have been challenged and they have responded quite well as well so far.

Osasuna had caught Barcelona in the counter attack but Kounde was there to the block the shot.
