In Chelsea Transfer News, the former Chelsea boss is the new man in charge of the German giants after replacing Julien Nagelsmann last week.
While Tuchel will be looking to finish the season with a bang, with a league, DFB-Pokal and Champions League treble still a possibility, his focus in the longer term will be on building his squad in the summer.
Mount is a player whom he knows well from their time together at Stamford Bridge and the midfielder looks increasingly likely to be on the move at the end of the season.
As Chelsea Transfer News says, according to The Times, Bayern Munich could be a potential exit route from his current situation in west London, joining Manchester United and Liverpool in the race for his signature.
Mount has just over 12 months remaining on his contract at the club, but with no extension yet agreed it means that his future is far from certain.
The summer represents Chelsea's last chance to attract top-dollar for the player, as clubs outside of England will be able to agree a pre-contract agreement with Mount from January, while any sale at that point would be heavily discounted.
The report adds that Chelsea would want at least £50million for Mount, however, it remains to be seen if Bayern would be willing to spend that sort of money on a player whom they could strike a free transfer agreement with just six months later.
As it stands, Mount is currently one of the lowest-paid players in Chelsea's first team, something that he's looking to address.
The 24-year-old has endured a mixed season so far, making 32 appearances this term, scoring three and assisting six more. Mount also has five goals in 36 appearances for England.
