Denmark vs England: What happened in the game?

Gareth Southgate’s men started the game positively. They opened the scoring, with record goalscorer Harry Kane finding the net in the 18th minute. Kyle Walker's deflected and reached Kane who didn't make any mistake in netting that. But after that, England didn't look like themselves. Denmark took over and dominated the game completely.

The Danes equalized in style, with Hjulmand scoring his first national team goal in the 34th minute. He got the ball 30 yards outside the box and decided to go for a powerful shot. The connection was fine, and the ball flew inside the net off the left-hand post, past a full-stretched Pickford.

Denmark did everything they could to take the lead but it never happened. Phil Foden did hit the post for England in the second half but except that, they couldn't do anything or create any trouble for Kasper Schmeichel at the goal.
