East Bengal enter the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 final after defeating Jamshedpur FC by 2-0. Hijazi Maher and Javier Siverio scored for the Ultras as Khalid Jamil's team found it hard to find the net against them. East Bengal had the chance to make it 3-0 however Cleiton Silva missed the penalty in the 83rd minute. East Bengal will face the winner between Odisha FC and Mumbai City FC in the final on Sunday.

It's final whistle and East Bengal FC are into the Kalinga Super Cup 2024. Hijazi Maher and Javier Siverio's goals take them through to the semis. They will face the winner of the second semi-final between Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC.

Silva's free-kick hits the wall and nearly falls perfectly for Hijazi Maher. But, Rehenesh makes a good save to deny him.

Gill had to make to back-to-back saves as a desperate Jamshedpur FC throwing everything at East Bengal

East Bengal captain went for power and he hits the bar.

Sayan Banerjee comes in for East Bengal and wins the penalty for them. The youngster ran past Pratik inside the box from left and won the penalty.

Javier Siverio scores the second goal for East Bengal. Nishu Kumar's accurate cross found Siverio inside the box who calmly finished his job. East Bengal lead by 2-0.

East Bengal lead via Hijazi Maher after the first 45 minutes of the East Bengal FC vs Jamshedpur FC Kalinga Super Cup 2024 Semi-Final 1.

Vishnu's shot misses the target narrowly after Rehenesh was able to get a touch to the ball, diving to his left.

Vishnu did well to get away from Uvais with a great run and a turn. However, he could not hold on to his ground and his appeal for a penalty is denied by Rahul Gupta.

Provat Lakra's mistimed shot nearly found an oustrechted Chiawa inside the box. Jamshedpur looking really threatening.

Jamshedpur FC's Ambri is inured and looks like he will have to leave the filed. Sanan Mohammed reaplces him in the playing XI.

Reita Chikawa's powerful shot is saved by Gill. Semboi found Chikawa with an undercut after receiving a great ball on the counter attack.

Manzorro's long cross nearly found Semboi who was nearly one shot away from scoring the goal. However, the ball seemed to be too long for him.

Ambri and company winning the battle of the mid-field now and Jamshedpur FC are looking good after conceeding the goal.

Another set piece goal for East Bengal. Crespo's pass found Hijazi in the far post after Silva's corner kick was near-perfect from the right. The East Bengal defender was ready to kick the ball from an unmarked position.

Gill jumps high in the air to grab a curving free-kick from Manzorro from the left of the box.

Vishnu's left-footed shot is collected by Rehenesh. Saul Crespo with the pass for Vishnu.

Rehenesh swiftly advances beyond his goal line to thwart a potential corner. With a well-timed diving clearance, he successfully redirects the ball, earning East Bengal a throw-in.

Siverio finds himself on the ground in the penalty area following the set piece. Despite a clear tackle on him, the referee dismisses all appeals for a penalty.

East Bengal will face Jamshedpur FC in the first semi-final of the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. East Bengal, led by coach Carles Cuadrat, will face Jamshedpur FC with a strong sense of confidence after their dominant victory over Mohun Bagan in the Kolkata Derby last week. After winning all three of their group-stage matches, both teams will face each other to decide one of the two finalists of the Super Cup.
