East Bengal vs Odisha FC: Both sides share a point after playing a frustrating 0-0 draw

The East Bengal vs Odisha match ends in a 0-0 draw at the Salt Lake Stadium. Odisha didn't create anything in the second half in comparison to East Bengal. An EBFC attacker was brought down inside the box but referee doesn't consider this as penalty.

East Bengal are mostly relying on counters. Odisha are trying to breach the opposition defence but EBFC defenders are spot on in their defending.

The free kick gets cleared comfortably by the East Bengal defenders.

It ends in 0-0 in the first half. Odisha dominated in possession but couldn't hurt the home side with something. The Red & Gold Brigade tried to create from the counters but lacked quality. The second half is going to be excited as both teams would like to earn some points before going in to the new year.

A poor final cross from Nishu into the box as it goes straight into the keeper's gloves. 

Hijazi Maher gets a yellow for a tackle from behind.

Mahesh's through pass to Souvik had too much power and Odisha clears the ball away to safety comfortably.

Jerry M gets a pass into the box and takes a strong shot but it goes over the crossbar.

Roy Krishna fails to get to the final pass in time and the ball goes out of play.

He sees the yellow card for a nasty tackle from behind.

Mahesh chooses to take a shot rather pass it to Silva inside the box. He had plenty of time to take a good decision but he took a shot. The shot was saved comfortably.

Borja provides a ball to Mahesh but Odisha successfully defends its goal.
