Netherlands vs France Euro 2024 Qualifier Live Blog : NED 1-2 FRA | Mbappe's grace helped France qualify for the Euro 2024 in Germany

Mbappé's double took his France tally to 42 goals, putting him fourth in the nation's all-time leading scorers behind only Antoine Griezmann (44), Thierry Henry (51) and Olivier Giroud (54).

France qualified for the Euro 2024 which is set to take place in Germany, next summer with their 2-1 victory over Netherlands at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

France was visibly the better side on the pitch but Netherlands had their chances too. The match was never expected to be an one sided encounter and it definitely wasn't one.

Kylian Mbappe have France the lead, just under 10 minutes and it was an amazing team goal. But after that, the French side never really created any clear goal scoring opportunity until his second goal, which was a stunner.

Although Hartman gave Netherlands a chance to make a comeback by scoring a late goal but it was not enough to stop France from reaching the Euro 2024 in Germany.

Kylian Mbappe, the man with a grace in the match received a yellow card late in the match for indulging with the crowd.

Marcus Thuram's shot got blocked by Tottenham defender Micky Van de Van with not so much time left on the clock and it seems likely to end in a French victory.

Tchouameni became the first French player in the match to get booked in Referee's book. It's been a very disciplined performance by the French side.

Quilindschy Hartman scored on his international debut and out of nowhere, Netherlands are back into the game. Hartman started the move with an amazing nutmeg through Gusto's legs and with the help of Bergwign's cute pass, found the back of the net.

Malen, the substitute who replaced Weghorst showed great potential since coming on and his shot was close to finding the back of the net, it just had too much power.

The visitors have started the second half well and are showing real intent to scratch another early goal after the kick off.

Hartman's effort from outside of the box should've been saved by Maignan quite easily but he made a mess of catching it and the ball almost got in his net.

The lead which the French team has taken was not a coincidence as they're playing really good football with pin point passing.

France seems to have taken control of the match and are moving the ball quite comfortably now.

After taking the lead, the play between both the teams are a bit scrappy with neither of them created any goal scoring chances.

The home team, after failing to prevent France's counter is trying hard to come up with an immediate response.

France counter attacked the home team's defense with great passing football and took the lead under 10 minutes.

Mbappe scored a relatively easy goal but it all started with Coman who found Griezmann in the middle just outside the box and the midfielder used his great vision to find the full back who then delivered a great cross to the striker's feet.
