Hyderabad FC secured a draw against the Highlanders at home after making a brilliant comeback late in the second half. Makan Chote and Joao Victor scored the goals to help their side claim one point against the struggling NorthEast team who were 2-goal up till 69 minutes.

This draw didn't change anything as both NorthEast and Hyderabad remained at the same spot in the ISL 2023-24 standings, they were before this fixture. For the Highlanders, Parthib Gogoi scored the opener in the later stages of the first half, and they ended the first 45 minutes with a narrow 1-goal lead.

Hyderabad tried to start the second half with an equaliser but they conceded the second goal after Alex Saji scored an own goal just six minutes into the half. Hyderabad didn't let their shoulders drop and fought back to claim one point. Makan Chote scored the equaliser in the 70th minute and just inside 6 minutes, captain Joao Victor made the comeback possible with a left-footed strike.
