After winning the first two matches, Jamshedpur FC qualified for the semifinals of the Kalinga Super Cup 2024. Shillong Lajong are already eliminated but would like to get something on the board before they depart from the competition.

Khalid Jamil's side beat Northeast United and Kerala Blasters to confirm their spot in the semifinals. Even if Jamshedpur loses against Lajong, they will be through due to their superior H2H standings.
