Newcastle United would be disappointed not to bury the chances they got in the first 20 minutes of the match. 

Anthony Gordon's late goal did give them hope, but it was not good enough to earn any points.

Pedri and Lewandowski linked up inside the box, and Rashford had the chance to find the net. However, his shot was blocked by Schar, who is down after the head blow.

From the corner, the winger's header missed the target just by inches. 

No changes from either team.

Newcastle had the best chances of the match and started really well. However, they could not convert them into goals. 

Barcelona slowly progressed in the game but without any result.

On his Champions League debut, Garcia made another save as Elanga first made a quick run and then sent a perfect cross for Barnes.

But, Garcia dived to his left to make the save from Barnes.

A cross from the right and Lewandowski had the chance to head the ball inside the goal. But, Pope came out to punch the ball out of danger.

The home side have found quite a few ways to enter the final third. This time, Kounde deflected a cross from the left for Newcastle's first corner.

Barcelona were able to quickly release the ball and found Raphinha and Rashford linking up on the left.

Burnes and Tonali linked up well before Tonali took a chance with a cross booted shot. Garcia made his first save of the night.

Elanga's perfectly timed cross from the right found Gordon at the centre of the box. But Gordon could not connect the shot. Huge let off!

A pair of penalties from Kylian Mbappé helped Real Madrid turn a deficit into victory in Xabi Alonso's first Champions League game at the helm. 

After withstanding early pressure from the hosts, Marseille struck first through Timothy Weah's emphatic finish, but Alonso's side were quickly level when Mbappé converted from the spot following a foul by Geoffrey Kondogbia on Rodrygo.

Although Madrid had Dani Carvajal sent off in the 72nd minute, Mbappé struck again with nine minutes left after Facundo Medina was penalised for handball.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus shared the spoils after an eight-goal thriller in Turin that equalled the record for the highest-scoring Champions League draw.

Khéphren Thuram and Loïs Openda both went close for the hosts in the first half, before Karim Adeyemi’s 52nd-minute finish sparked the encounter into life.

Kenan Yıldız, Felix Nmecha and Dušan Vlahović all scored in a four-minute flurry before Yan Couto's powerful finish made it 3-2 to Dortmund.

The visitors looked to have sealed victory through Ramy Bensebaini's 85th-minute penalty, but Juventus rescued a draw in added time thanks to Dušan Vlahović's finish and a Lloyd Kelly header.

In a counterattack Romero found Morales, nearly one-on-one, but Balde came in running to make the tackle and win the ball.

A chaos inside the box by Levante defender and Pedri found Ferran inside the box.

Although he was nearly one-on-one against Cunat, he hit the crossbar.

After lots of passes and plays, Pedri decided to make a quick turn and take a shot from the edge of the box.

But, it went straight to Cunat.

The 38-year-old striker had timed his run perfectly. But Marc Casado won the ball back from him inside the box.

Rashford, Balde and Ferran played a very quick move with Ferran side-footing the ball from inside the box. 

But it was eventually an easy save from Cunat.

Yamal looks for Ferran with a through ball. However, it was too quick for Ferran to recieve it.

It was a crazy match indeed. Barcelona started well. Mallorca started in the worst possible way. 

Raphinha scored early. Ferran scored while Mallorca players thought the game had stopped. The referee did not whistle, and the game continued despite the head injury. The goal stayed.

Kounde's shot from a tight angle was partially saved by Roman.

On the right again, Raphinha made a quick entry, and the cutback allowed him to go for the goal with a left-footed shot. However, the ball did not curl back enough as he missed the far post by inches.

A good run from Mojica allowed Muriqui to recieve a solid pass at the centre of the box. However, do not know why, he back-heeled the ball as someone from his team was waiting there to shoot.
