Lukaku's agent mentioned that Lukaku almost stayed in Milan due to the love showered towards him by his fans. He mentioned that he and his family got threats due to his involvement in Romelu's transfer from Inter to Chelsea. He also claimed that Lukaku's exit from Inter has raised anger in many fans and led to many ugly behaviors.

Chelsea has finished Lukaku's signing of £98 million, as the Belgian footballer came at Stamford Bridge for the second spell.
