In the past Mohun Bagan found it difficult to get past the Islanders. Final verdict
Mumbai City FC were the better team on the pitch across the 90 minutes and they deserved the one point from Kolkata. Vipin was superb with his runs and crosses and Noufal impressed everyone in the second half as well.
Molina looked defensive from the start and except for the goal, there was not that many of chances for Mohun Bagan in the match. However, for Mumbai City FC, Nikolaos Karelis missed three chances but Tiri and Krouma made sure all of that were wiped out at the end.
With more games, both teams will surely coordinate better and with the bench strength both team have, it will be surprising if they do not finish in the top four.
What a comeback! What a goal! Noufal made the cutback to find Krouma in the middle who side footed thew ball past Kaith to equalise for Mumbai City FC.
