Diego Mauricio's goal is enough for them as the Kalinga Warriors beat the 8-men Islanders in an intense semi-final clash at Bhubaneswar. Odisha will now face East Bengal in the Final of the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 on Sunday.

Jorge Pereyra Diaz is sent off as well. Gurkirat also receives his second Yellow card and his night is also over. Mumbai City FC are down to 10 men.

Carlos Delgado is down and in immense pain and Rostyn Griffiths sees a Red Card for his terrible challenge. A fight breaks out and the referee is trying to stop it.

Mehtab gives away the ball cheaply. Isaka Ralte pounces on the opportunity and sets up Roy Krishna but the latter's shot gets blocked.

Diego Mauricio gives Odisha the lead from the spot. It was coming as Odisha were threatening the Mumbai defence continuously and finally, they got the lead.

Mumbai skipper Lachenpa brings down Mauricio inside the box and the referee points to the spot straight away.

Diego Mauricio looks for a one-two with Roy Krishna, but Franklin Robin Nazareth intercepts. Roy Krishna then finds the ball again in the box and takes a shot with his left foot, but it is blocked by Mehtab Singh.

Diego fires into the final third on the right flank and unleashes a poor shot towards goal but that's an easy save for Mumbai skipper Lachenpa.

Diego Mauricio sends one ball into the box but Ranawade's shot flies wide.

Ralte finds space near the box and tries his luck from a long way out but the ball goes past the crossbar.

Diego Mauricio cuts inside and takes a shot with his right foot. The ball curls but not enough to get a lead.

Ayush puts the ball forward towards Gurkirat inside the box but Fall comes up with a crucial tackle to save his side from conceding early.

Roy Krishna shoots from an awkward angle that the Mumbai keeper saves without trouble. Jerry reaches to take a shot on the rebound but he mishits it.

Jahouh takes the free kick and sends a long ball inside the box. Fall tries to get the connection with his head but the ball goes past him.

The 2020-21 Indian Super League (ISL) league Champion Mumbai City FC will face the 2023 Super Cup winner Odisha FC in a thrilling Kalinga Super Cup 2024 clash at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on Thursday (January 25). Odisha FC had the joint-best defensive record in the group stages, only conceding two goals in three games while Mumbai City striker Ayush Chhikara has scored three goals so far in the competition, the most for an Indian player.
