Vikram Pratap Singh's 42nd-minute and 58th-minute goals were enough to split the two teams at Mumbai. With this victory, they moved to the number four position in the points table with 28 points in 14 games. Bengaluru FC remained at the 10th spot with only 15 points in 16 matches.

Although Bengaluru dominated the possession and took more shots but couldn't test Phurba Lachenpa for a goal.
