Cleiton Silva gets the ball and goes for a shot with his weaker left foot. The shot gets blocked but the ball falls kindly to Forbes, who shoots the ball inside the net from point-blank range.

Redeem Tlang is down on the ground. He is getting medical attention.

Juric gets the ball and does well to shield the ball and then goes for a curler from the edge of the box. The shot beats Gill and it's the third goal for NorthEast.

Tlang shows brilliant vision to find Juric with a through ball. He goes for precision instead of power and his shot goes straight to Gill.

Cleiton Silva provides a pass to Nandha, who makes a clever run inside the box. Nanadha then goes for a first-time shot but the ball hits Mirshad and ends up inside the net. A huge deflection but the Red & Gold Brigade will happily take that as an opportunity.

Cleiton Silva gets the ball near the NorthEast box and goes for a shot on the volley. The effort goes off target.

A short corner from EBFC but NorthEast clears the ball and starts a counter. However, Jithin loses the ball and Noarem Mahesh gets the ball. Nandha makes a run inside the box but Mahesh's cross goes straight to Mirshad.

Dinesh gets a yellow card for a reckless challenge on Sayan Banerjee.

A first-time cross comes in but Hijazi heads it to safety.

Jithin provides the ball to Redeem Tlang who fires through the right flank. He spots Nestor inside the box and finds him with a brilliant through ball. Nestor goes for a first-time shot and manages to roll the ball past Gill for the second NorthEast United goal.

Juric gets the ball near the East Bengal box and goes for a shot from a distance but the shot is not on target.

East Bengal loses the ball. Jithin carries the ball and spreads it to Nestor who made the overlap. Nestro squares the ball to Juric and the latter makes no mistake in tapping the ball inside the net.

NorthEast United FC head coach Juan Pedro Benali said, "We had problems in scoring in only two games in the ISL so far, which was against EBFC away from home and against Mohun Bagan in Guwahati. We keep ourselves stronger defensively and have always scored, and we will be trying to do that more than the other team tomorrow."

East Bengal head coach Carles Cuadrat said, "We are trying to have a team that can fight for being in the higher statures of the ISL.
