Indian javelin ace Neeraj Chopra bettered his throw of 89.45m at the Paris Olympics 2024 with a season-best throw of 89.49m at the Lausanne Diamond League 2024. Though Neeraj has been a World and Olympic Champion, yet to cross the 90m mark in his career so far.

Neeraj Chopra is currently the World No. 2 player in men's javelin throw. Post winning the record-breaking gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj has competed in 17 events and won 9 of them while finishing second in the rest of the 8 events. He has never gone below the 85m mark since then.

- The best throw of Neeraj Chopra's career is 89.94m. Neeraj had thrown this throw in the Stockholm Diamond League on 30 June 2022. This throw is a national record and one of Neeraj Chopra's best throws. - Neeraj Chopra's seventh-best throw came in the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest. In this competition which was held on August 25, 2023, Neeraj showed excellent performance and achieved a distance of 88.77m.
