Preeti Pal finishes with a time of 14.21 to grab a bronze medal in the Women’s 100m T35 finals. 

With this, she becomes the first Paralympian medallist for India in a track event in the history of the Paralympics.

This time of 14.21 is also Preethi’s personal best. 

India’s Arshad Shaikh currently in fifth with a finish time of 4:20:949 in the Men’s C2 3000 Individual Pursuit qualifying.

Arshad is out of medal contention. The riders with the two fastest times will race for Gold, the next two fastest riders will race for Bronze.

The mixed doubles team of Anita and Narayana Konganapalle finished fifth in Heat 1 of the PR3 Mixed Doubles Sculls.

Avani Lekhara has won a gold medal at the Women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 category with a score of 249.7. Avani has also made a Paralympic record.

Mona Agarwal, on the other hand, wins bronze in the women’s 10m air rifle standing final with a score of 228.7

Bhavina Patel and Sonalben Patel lost their Women’s Doubles WD10 quarterfinal against Korea’s Young A Jung and Sunghye Moon by a scoreline of 5-11, 6-11, 11-9, 6-11.

Nitesh Kumar cruises to a straight-games win against China’s Jianyuan Yang.

Nitesh defeated Yang by a 21-5, 21-11 scoreline in their men’s singles SL3 Group A match. 

With this win, Nitesh qualified for the semifinals.

It is a straight-games loss for India’s Manoj Kumar.

He loses 19-21, 8-21 against Thailand’s Mongkhon Bunsun in the Men’s Singles SL3 Group A match. 

After the fifth series, Avani holds the top position with a score of 105.6.

Mona Agarwal finishes with 104.1 and slips to sixth but can still qualify for the final. 

Manasi had three game points but failed to capitalise as Ukrainian Oksana Kozyna wins two games on the trot and wins by a 10-21, 21-15, 23-21. 

With this loss, Manasi is out of the tournament. 

India's Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal have entered the finals in 10 meter air pistol. 

After completion of 6 series, Avani remained at second position and Mona at fifth position. The country is expecting a medal from these two.

Prachi clocks an impressive 1:05.66 in the women’s Va’a Single 200m - VL2 Semifinals. She finished third in her heat and qualified for Final A. 

Jyoti Gaderiya is not doing so well in the para cycling final. She finds herself in last after the first lap, nearly 10 minutes behind the leader.

Yash Kumar finishes last in his semi-final in the Men's Kayak Single 200m KL1 event. He bows out of any final contention.
