Hello and welcome to another day of our LIVE coverage of Paris Paralympics 2024 as Indian Para-Atheletes continue their historical campaign in Paris. Today, we will bring you all the LIVE updates, scores, news, images, and results of Paris Paralympics Day 8 (September 5) as India look to increase the medal tally.
Till now India para-athletes have already registrered their best-ever Paralympic Games campaign with 24 medals while getting past their previous best of 19 medals at Tokyo Paralympics.
What happended on Day 7?
On day 7, India clinched four medals (2 Gold and 2 Silver) and took their medal count to 24. Harvinder Singh created history by winning Gold medal in Men's individual recurve open event while in the Men's Club Throw F51 event Dharambir won Gold with National Record of 34.92m and Pranav Soorma won silver with 34.59m throw.
Sachin Sarjerao Khilari won the silver medal for India in the Men's Shot Put F-46 event with a National Record of 16.32m.
With coming events in Shooting, Archery, Judo, Athletics and Powerlifting today, we can surely hope for more medals.
