Saurabh Chaudhary and Suruchi Singh defeated the People's Republic of China's Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai in the final of the 10m air pistol mixed team event to win the gold. 

The Indian pair scored 17 in the final match. This was India's fourth medal at the Lima ISSF World Cup 2025. 

Saurabh Chaudhary, won his first individual World Cup medal in almost three years after scoring 219.1 in the men's 10m air pistol event. 

The Indian shooter had finished seventh in qualification with a score of 578 to make the final.

China’s Hu Kai won gold with a score of 246.4 and Brazil’s Felipe Almeida Wu clinched silver with a score 241.0.

Suruchi Singh, the 18-year-old shooter stunned everyone by scoring 243.6 to beat her Indian counterpart Manu Bhaker, a two-time Olympic medallist, for the gold.

Manu scored 242.3 to grab the silver medal.  People’s Republic of China’s Yao Qianxun won the bronze medal with 219.5.

Suruchi also shot 244.6 to win the gold medal in Buenos Aires last week to win her first Senior World Cup medal. 

More bad news for India as Sarita lost her quarter-final match against Turkey's Oznur Girdi Cure by 145-140 in the Women's Individual Compound event. 

After breaking the 700 barrier in the ranking round, India's star para-archer Sheetal Devi bowed out in the 1/8 elimination round of the Women's Individual Compound by 137-138 against Mariana Zuniga of Chile.

Sarita defeated Elonara Sarti of Italy in the Women's Individual Compound 1/8 round by 141-135. She moves to the next round tonight against Turkey's Onzur Girdi Cure.

Medal no. 5 for India as Rubina Francis wins bronze medal in P2 - Women's 10m Air Pistol SH1 with 211.1 points.

Manisha Ramadass lost 15-21, 7-21 against China’s Yang Qui Xia in their Women’s Singles SU5 Group C match.

Manisha will now play in the quarterfinals. 

Rubina Francis performed brilliantly and qualified for the final by finishing seventh in the women's 10m air pistol SS1 qualification. Rubina scored 556 in the qualification.

The shooters who are in the top eight have qualified for the final.

The medal match of this event will be played from 6:15 PM today. 

Manisha Ramadass lost 15-21 in the first game of her Women’s Singles SU5 Group C match against China’s Yang Qui Xia.

Tarun Dhillon loses 21-7, 21-16 against France’s Lucas Mazur and fails to make the semifinals in the Men’s Singles SL4 category.

India to get a guaranteed medal in para badminton (Men’s Singles SL4 category) because Sukant Kadam and Suhas Yathiraj both have reached the semifinals.

So, a bronze medal is guaranteed. 

Another Indian badminton player, Sukant Kadam reached the semi-finals by winning the group stage match of the men's singles SL4 event. 

Sukant defeated Siripong Teamarrom of Thailand 21-12, 21-12.

Arshad Shaikh, who completed in the qualification round of the Men’s C1-3 1000m, is now 11th in the standings and will not qualify for the finals. Arshad took a time of 1:02:377. 

The players finishing in the top six positions in this event qualify for the finals.

Nitesh Kumar, who has already qualified for the semifinals, cruises to a 21-13, 21-14 win against Mongkhon Bunsun in their Group A match in the Men’s Singles SL3 category. 

Indian para shooter Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar finished 14th in the men's 10m Air Rifle SH1 qualification with 613.4 points and could not make it to the finals.

In this event, only the top eight shooters qualify for the final, but Swaroop missed doing so. 

Swaroop was a medal contender and had narrowly missed out on a medal in Tokyo.

Indian woman para cyclist Jyoti Gaderiya finished 11th in C1-3 500m time trial qualifying with a timing of 52.098s and missed out on a place in the final. 

The athletes finishing in the top six in this event qualify for the finals.

India's para shooter Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar has come out to challenge in the men's 10 meter air rifle standing SH1 qualification. 

Swaroop was successful in reaching the finals in Tokyo where he missed out on a medal by finishing fourth. However, this time there will be hopes of a medal from him.

Women badminton player Mandeep Kaur made a brilliant comeback and won the singles SL3 group stage match. With this win, Mandeep qualifies for quarterfinals.

Mandeep defeated Celine Aurelie Vinot of Australia 21-23, 21-10, 21-17. 

Mandeep had lost the first game, but he made a good comeback in the next two games and won the match.

After losing the first game, Mandeep came back and won the second game from Celine 21-10. 

At present the match between the two players is going equally.

Mandeep lost the first game against Celine 23-21. 

The Indian para athlete had made a good start, but the Australian player came back to take the game and take the lead.

Female para badminton player Mandeep Kaur's match with Celine Aurelie Vinot in the women's singles SL3 category has started. 

With the start of Mandeep's match, the Indian campaign started on the third day of the Games. 

India had won four medals, including one gold, on the second day of the Paris Paralympics.
