The 2020 Tokyo Olympics have come and gone. Overall, 339 medals were handed out across 33 sports events. Moreover, team USA was the big winner collecting one-third of all of the medals that were awarded. The record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics is 83, which the United States achieved at the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
However, Thirty-three sports have been completed during the time span of 17 days. Moreover, all the events are complete in empty stadiums of Tokyo among the coronavirus threat. Although, the USA tops the medals table followed by China and Japan. The USA secured 113 medals overall with 39 Golds. On the other hand, China grabs a total of 88 medals to secure 2nd position at the medals table. However, the hosts, Japan completes with 58 medals & remains at no 3 spots. Great Britain completes with a total of 65 medals including 22 Golds. ROC finishes at no 5 spots of Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Moreover, Australia grabs a total of 46 medals with 17 Golds to finish at no 6. on the other hand, Netherlands finishes at no 7 spots with 36 medals. Although, France grabs the no 8 spot in the Olympic medals table. Germany finishes with 37 medals at no 9. However, Italy finishes in the 10th spot at the Olympics medals table.
Though India finishes at 48th in Tokyo Olympics medals table. But this was India's best Olympic campaign ever not just in terms of numbers but with some crucial positive results.
