The Paris Olympics 2024 will start from July 26, 2024, in which around 10,500 players from all over the world will be seen participating.

Paris will be hosting the Games for the third time
This will be the third time that the Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris, the capital of France. Earlier, Paris had hosted the Games in 1900 and 1924. Paris will be only the second city to host three Olympic Games. Interestingly, the Olympic Games were played in London in 1908, 1948, and 2012. So far, 2 Olympics (1932 and 1984) have also been held in Los Angeles, America.
Russia and Belarus are not allowed in Paris Games
Players from Russia and Belarus will not be able to represent their respective countries in the Paris Olympics. Russia has been banned from waging war against Ukraine. Similarly, Belarus has supported Russia, due to which they too are not allowed.
Interestingly, players from Russia and Belarus will be seen participating in the Paris Olympics as 'neutral athletes'. If they win any medal, their national anthem will not be played.

'Breaking' will be seen for the first time in Olympics
The Paris Olympics 2024 will also feature 4 non-traditional sports in form of skateboarding, sport climbing, surfing, and breaking. Breaking, also known as break dancing, will be played in an Olympics for the first time. At the same time, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing have all been played for the first time in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
