Amitabh Choudhary, the veteran cricket administrator and the former secretary of BCCI passed away. He died of a heart attack on Tuesday morning. He was 58 years old. The whole cricket world is shocked by his sudden death. Many have expressed condolences on social media.

Choudhary has handled the responsibility of the Jharkhand Cricket Association for 10 years. He also held the post of Executive Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a long time. On Monday, the Jharkhand Cricket Association confirmed the news of his death.
Born in Gangtok, Amitabh Choudhary was an IPS officer. However, due to his love for cricket, he associated himself with 22 yards administratively. Although not only an administrative officer, he was also the team manager during the Indian team's tour of Zimbabwe in the 2005-06 season.
