Full-time | Manchester City 2-2 Brighton
Despite taking the lead two times throughout the game, Brighton hold Manchester City in a 2-2 stalemate at home.
Erling Haaland drew the first blood from the spot, which was canceled out only ten minutes later, through a blistering free-kick by Pervis Estupinan. Right before the break, Omar Marmoush produced a lightning strike, which put City ahead at the break. However, Brighton equalized only three minutes into the second half, as Hinshelwood's strike forced Khusanov to fire it into his own net.
Following that, Brighton had a couple of chances, with Baleba missing a golden opportunity, but they fought well to snatch a point away from Etihad, intensifying the qualification race for the top four spots in the 2024-25 Premier League!
