The captain with the most T20I runs is none other than the king of cricket Virat Kohli. The Indian captain started his captaincy in 2017 and became the most successful captain of India. Needless to mention his contribution to the team and its victories. As a captain, he has played in 43 innings and scored a pile of 1502 runs. Virat Kohli is undoubtedly a terrific T20 cricketer with the most number of the 50s and boundaries. Also, he is the only batsman who has scored more than 1,000 T20 runs with an average of 50+.

The Nepali skipper has played in 27 matches, in which he has scored 620 T20I runs with an average of 26.96. He has smashed two half-century and a century in his T20I career including his highest score of 106 in the format. Khadka has retired from international cricket earlier this year after resigning as captain back in 2020.

Babar has 24 half-centuries and one century to his name. However, he has just played 65 innings in T20Is and already achieved many records and will surely add some more to his name in near future.
