5 top players to go unsold in IPL 2024 auction

Rasse Van de Dussen

Van de Dussen could not find a buyer in the IPL 2024 auction, and it does come as a surprise. Dussen has done tremendously well for South Africa in T20I cricket had been known for his match -winning abilities.

Dussen never really got an opportunity to prove himself in IPL as he only played 3 games. For South Africa, he has over 1000 runs at a healthy average of 35 and a strike rate of 130.

Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood was released by RCB ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. It was speculated that many franchises will go after him. However the Aussie pacer could not find a buyer. Hazlewood leads Australia's pacer attack with Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc.

Karun Nair

Karun was expected to find a good deal in the IPL 2024 auction. Nair is stable batter, and it was expected that CSK could go after him as Ambati Rayudu's replacement. He has a decent record in domestic cricket but his average of 23 in IPL does not justify his talent.

Kyle Jamieson

In IPL 2021, RCN bought Kyle Jamieson for INR 15 crores. However, the Kiwi pacer went unsold in IPL 2024 auction. Jamieson going unsold does come as a surprise as he has done well for New Zealand in T20I cricket in recent times.
