Tunjung, the 23-year-old Indonesian dominated Sindhu from the first game in the final. Despite losing the previous seven games to Sinfhu, Tunjung looked confident from the word go.
Tunjung took a massive lead in the first game from the start. Though the Indian shuttler tried to make a comeback in the game, she could not. A few unforced errors from Sindhu provided Tunjung six consecutive points and soon the first game went to the Indonesian (21-8).
Tunjung's domination continued in the second game as well. Sindhu could not put any resistance to Tunjung's attack and kept on losing point after point. The Spain Masters 300 final literally looked like a one-sided match as the scoreboard said 18-4 to the Indonesian.
Sindhu's dream of becoming the first-ever Indian to win a Spain Masters 300 title was over in just 29 minutes as she failed to dominate the Indonesian shuttler. Although Sindhu did not look at her best in the final, she has shown a few flashes of her best in this week.
