BCCI Announces Fixtures for International Home Season 2023-24: Indian Men's team to play 5 tests

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the much-awaited fixtures for the International Home Season 2023-24, setting the stage for an action-packed period of cricket for fans around the world. The Senior Men's team will be gearing up to participate in a thrilling series of 16 International matches, comprising 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 8 T20Is.

The BCCI's Tours, Fixtures, and Technical Committee, consisting of Mr. Amitabh Vijayvargiya, Mr. Jayendra Sahgal, and Mr. Hari Narayan Pujari, have meticulously finalized the venues according to the BCCI's venue rotation policy.

Kicking off the home season will be a high-octane three-match ODI series against Australia, paving the way for the much-anticipated ICC Men's Cricket World Cup. Cricket enthusiasts can witness the fierce battle between India and Australia in Mohali, Indore, and Rajkot during this exciting ODI series.

As the adrenaline from the World Cup settles, India will lock horns with Australia once again in a riveting five-match T20I series. The series will commence on 23rd November in Vizag, culminating on 3rd December in Hyderabad, providing fans with back-to-back thrilling encounters.

The new year will bring fresh challenges as Afghanistan embarks on their maiden white-ball bilateral tour to India. The spotlight will be on the three-match T20I series, which will be held in Mohali and Indore, with the final showdown taking place in Bengaluru, the same venue where Afghanistan played their historic first-ever Test match.

Test cricket will then take centre stage as India prepares to host England for a gripping five-match Test series, commencing on 25th January 2024. Fans will be treated to enthralling matches at Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala, as both teams battle it out for supremacy.
